@matigo It's the Amazfit Bip. Amazon has them on sale for $68 and I had some rewards credit so it only cost me $35! Screen is okay (but always on), design borrows heavily from Apple Watch, but battery life is good and it has GPS/Heartrate capabilities. Lots of custom faces too.
🏃♂ Shakedown run with the new watch went well. I'm really happy to have a fitness watch with phone independent GPS again, but the iPhone integration is solid and made exporting the run data to the phone easy. Next time I'm going to try just using it as a heart rate sensor.
New watch received! Updating the firmware now so I can take it out for a test run in a bit. It's similar in size to my Pebble Time, but a bit more svelte horizontally.
🍿Watched Onward with the family tonight and it was pretty good. Plenty of moments that got loud reactions and lots of laughter from the whole group. Loved the premise of a fantasy world that modernized because it was easier than magic.
Heh, ended up being warm enough to take off my outer layer early in the run and I went a full 14K+ (longest so far this year).🤷🏻♂
