Finally going to change the crummy LED-bulb-killing light fixture in my office for a superior multi LED model today. I'm going to have so much light I might have to start showing my video feed in Zoom meetings again.
⚽ Perfectly timed run and goal from Kane off a Bentancur through ball puts Spurs up 0-2.
Kane's work rate has been very minimalist in the midfield so far today, but then he's occasionally uncorking a couple of these energetic plays when he pushes towards the goal. Not really a fan of this approach though.
⚽ Harry Kane finally pressures a keeper, nicks the ball, and then completely misses the empty net. It was a tough angle once he recovered the ball, but you expect more from a player of his quality.
⚽ Very disappointing game. Son kind of poor again with two key slips on the break and two out of Ronaldo's 3 goals were allowed by poor defending. United wins 3-2 at Old Trafford.
⚾ I haven't watched any MLB games in years, but I'm intrigued that Apple will be offering Friday Night Baseball doubleheaders and a daily look-in/highlight show (MLB Big Inning) on Apple TV+ this season. There's really no reason not to check it out since I'm already subscribed.
🏀Don't watch my alma mater WSU play much these days, but the program is on an upward trend again under Kyle Smith and play UCLA tonight so I think I'll try to watch at least part of the game.
📺I've really been enjoying Severance so far. Fascinating premise and brilliant execution- I'm really impressed with Ben Stiller's work as the director on this project. The opening credits are pretty amazing too.
The new Apple Studio and Studio Display look pretty sweet and dare I say it "cube-adjacent". Way beyond my price range, but I'm sure I'll see at least a few cross my path at work in the next several months.
