Successfully integrated my 2013 Instagram photos into the blog archive last night. I'd like to come up with an automated solution for importing new photos that doesn't involve IFTTT [ifttt.com] or Zapier [zanier.com], but it's not a priority at the moment.
Finally realized this morning that the sun isn't rising until almost 7 AM now. Time to start setting an alarm again since sunlight can't do the job any more.
Got a chance to see the newly remodeled Gonzaga Athletics offices in Martin Centre today while delivering a monitor. Huge improvement over the dingy old ones with lots of ultra modern glass walls that I noticed immediately. Not quite Westworld level glass decor, but close!
🎮 After going through the Stencyl Crash Course 1 I think it's probably the front runner for ease of platformer creation. Seems both kid friendly and powerful.
Looks like iOS 11.0.2 is out now based on the iPad Pro I'm updating right now. Glad I've held off on my iPhone while things settle out.

🎮 I've been trying out some different game creation systems lately since my oldest son wants to do his own take on the Megaman franchise. Haven't settled on a product yet, but working through tutorials on Game Maker Studio, Stencyl, and Godot to see what might work best for us.
And now I hear Tom Petty has died. His music was just one of many things my aforementioned college buddy and I bonded over back in the day, but it still resonates. I need to learn how to play at least one of his songs on ukulele.
Randomly woke up at 4am, saw the horrible Las Vegas news and have been up ever since. Got to work and was happy to hear from a college buddy for the first time in quite a while. Just found out a former coworker had passed away unexpectedly last night. Today is a rollercoaster.
