🏀Just heard that Mark Few (Gonzaga's head basketball coach) was pulled over and cited for DUI in Coeur d'Alene, ID last night. Everyone is human, but absolutely sick to my stomach that he'd make a mistake of this magnitude.
I've got a full plate on the home improvement front this fall. Once our bedroom is done I've got to do the flooring in our second floor hallway, install laminate on our stairs, and tile the floor in our kids' bathroom. After that I will probably redo our bathroom flooring too.
@matigo Next couple days. I should be able to to do a bit more tomorrow night after work and I'm using a personal day Wednesday. Of course then I have to repaint the room and install new baseboard trim, but that's my task for the weekend.
As of tonight, 70% of the new flooring has been installed in the master bedroom. I was hoping to get closer to 100%, but these projects always take a little longer than I expect.
Managed to get about 1/3 of the new laminate flooring installed in our master bedroom today. I was hoping to get halfway, but that was clearly optimistic. At least I have all day tomorrow to work on the project.
@matigo With my second shot I felt like crap the morning after, but got to work on a home improvement project later that day and it took my mind off my general malaise. I was fine the next day.

🍿🎙Finally watched Minority Report last night so that I could listen to the recent Incomparable episode featuring it and absolutely love that Jason Snell had the same reaction to the jetpack sequence that I did. Really enjoyed the movie, but that part was sooo stupid!
🧙♂ Midweek Magic really made me appreciate how much the power level of Historic Pauper has increased this year thanks to the last couple sets and now Jumpstart Horizons. So many good commons with card draw!
⚾ I didn't fully understand the origin of the Cleveland Guardians mascot until today, but now that I do (huge iconic statues on Cleveland's Hope Memorial Bridge) I think it's a completely brilliant choice.
📺On a weird tangential note learned today that Bridget Regan will be playing Poison Ivy on season 3 of Batwoman. Seems like a solid casting choice.
