🏀Just heard the Groves brothers from EWU have entered the transfer portal. It will be interesting to see where they end up, but I'm bummed out for the Eagles because this will be a significant hit to the returning team.
🧙♂ Today's FNM Arena event is finally Historic Pauper again. I put together an okay Orzhov lifedrain deck last night that went 1-1. Will probably play a couple more games with it tonight, but I definitely want to try some other archetypes before the event ends.
🧙♂ Played a quick game in the play queue and got my first iPad win with my goto Mono-Black enchantments deck vs. Temur Giants - Genesis Ultimatum. Felt like my opponent should have won, but I held on just long enough to top deck a Demonic Embrace and soar to victory.
🧙♂ App Store search let me down, but the MagicArena subreddit hooked me up with the iOS app download. Now if I can only remember my account password.
It's supposed to rain from noon on so I think I'm going to get a quick run in around lunchtime before it hits.
🧙♂ MTGA is finally coming to iOS tomorrow so that's exciting. I don't particularly want to play on my phone, but I do want to play on my iPad.
🏀On the flipside EWU's athletic program isn't in great financial shape with a lot of questions about its future, so time probably time to jet.
🏀The rumor mill seems to be that EWU's Shantay Legans is going to take the Portland coaching job. With the team he has coming back next year I feel like he can and should wait for a better opening, but what do I know?
