Time for a short afternoon run.
My oldest son and I both felt the ground shake for a second or two in our basement earlier this afternoon, but nobody else in the house felt it and there are no reports of earthquakes.
There's nothing quite like a beautiful sunny day outside my office window punctuated by the unholy screams of my youngest children as they terrorize our backyard!
@matigo Not even close, but a YouTuber/streamer I (and thousands of other people follow) just hit #1 Mythic for the first time using his take on the Mono White Aggro deck and I'm sure that's going to totally warp the metagame further in that direction.
🧙♂ I spent four rare wildcards on a crazy Naya Runes deck last night that is pretty fun when it goes off too. I'll probably give it a try on the ladder at some point today as well.
🧙♂ So far this season I've had the best results on the ladder running a Gruul Aggro deck that doesn't even play Henge. The Luis Salvatto Mono White Aggro deck I was hoping to run is already sub optimal for the current meta and lost to alternative mirrors when I tried it.
🏀Going to see if I can watch at least part of the Michigan - Illinois game this afternoon. Should be a good game and I'm curious to see if the Wolverines live up to all the "true number one" hype they've been getting lately.
🧙♂ Today I learned that Magic's Hobbit inspired race are the Kithkin. I knew they had to be in there somewhere, but all the relevant cards are well before my time.
🎙Found out yesterday that Avid offers a free version of their DAW called Pro Tools First that's well suited for editing podcasts. There's a 16 track limitation, but that almost seems like a feature from a complexity standpoint.
🧙♂ Worked my way out of Bronze 1 and back into Silver tonight. Had terrible luck with the Halvar upgraded mono white aggro deck and played multiple mirrors. Switched to a Gruul Aggro deck and had much better luck.
