Legendary WSU radio broadcaster Bob Robertson just announced his retirement effective immediately. It definitely bums me out that he wasn't able to finish out this season. Hope he gets a ton of love on TV Saturday!

Paul Turner is retiring from the Spokesman-Review. The long time columnist is one of my favorites contributors to the paper and something of a Spokane institution so I'm sad to see him go. At least he'll continue to do some regular part time writing in the short term.

🎮 Oh, wow! Just discovered Endless Sky, a cross platform, open source space trading and combat game inspired by Escape Velocity Nova, one of my all-time favorite Mac shareware games.
Publii is an interesting looking static site generator that runs on Mac and Windows and supports a variety of different destinations. No markdown support yet, but the GUI looks pretty good.
Fiddling around with Grav a little bit the last couple days since it's been a while since I've played with any new web apps and it seems like a pretty cool flat file CMS.

🎮 I'd totally forgotten about the Game Play Color Game Boy Color emulator for iOS until I followed up on a Google account access check (it uses Google Drive to load your ROMs). It's amazing what you can do with a HTML 5 web app these days.
