I was excited to hear today that Spokane has been awarded a $53,000,000 grant to complete the Central City Line, an east-west rapid transit electric bus route running from Browne's edition to SCC. This is going to make traveling from GU to Downtown super convenient.

📚 Rebound (★★★★) is the somewhat more conventional prequel to Kwame Alexander's Newberry Medal winner The Crossover. While not quite as innovative as it predecessor, I still really enjoyed having another chance to revisit the basketball-infused world these books inhabit.
Innovative collaborative macOS text editor SubEthaEdit 5 is now free and open source. I haven't looked at it in years, but always thought it was cool. Seems like it could replace Google Docs for some podcast show note collaboration use cases.

🎮 There's a new story format out for Twine called Chapbook and it looks really promising. The default design looks great, but more importantly the domain specific language and backstage debugging functionality is a big step forward.
🎮 Dialog is a new domain-specific language for creating interactive fiction inspired by Inform 7 and Prolog. It compiles into Z-code and was used to write a game called Tethered for the 2018 IF Comp.
So the Olivia Jaimes "Nancy" comic strip reboot is pretty genius. Sluggo is lit!
