For the moment you can't and to get future posts it looks like you have to subscribe on Medium. No thanks.

🏈 In completely unexpected college football coaching news Chris Petersen just stepped down at the University of Washington and highly regarded UW defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake has been promoted to take over as head coach. Coach Lake actually grew up in Spokane and was a multi-sport athlete at North Central High School. Besides being a gridiron standout, he also played varsity basketball at NC for my friend Don Van Lierop, who thought quite highly of him. Pretty neat to see a hardworking Spokane kid achieve this kind of success.

🏀 It's crazy how inexperienced and wide open the GSL is this season. Even the teams with future D-I players like G-Prep (Liam Lloyd) and Mt. Spokane (Tyson Degenhart) are surrounding them with completely new and untested squads. I hope I'm wrong, but at this point I'm not super optimistic that any teams in the league will have much post season success and advance beyond districts.

⚽ Spurs got the 3-2 victory today, but once again gave up late goals (in this case two to Liverpool loan Harry Wilson) in a match where they had a commanding lead. For the moment they're back up to 5th in the table, but Wolverhampton and Sheffield play tomorrow in a match that should put at least one back ahead unless they draw.

I had no idea a massive pile up on I-90 just west of Spokane had happened today until I saw the news on CNN a few minutes ago. Bizarrely there was no sign of precipitation or snow in any part of Spokane I was at today other than that band south of Francis that I saw this morning.

🎶 My Pearl Jam investment waned in the mid 90s, but they've been going strong without me ever since. Pretty amazing that it's been almost 30 years since Ten debuted (I am old) and they've written so many songs that a best Pearl Jam songs of all time list has 60 entries! Looking forward to exploring it further.

⚽ Great start to the Mourinho era even if the late West Ham goals show that defensive problems still lurk. Dele Ali with his best performance in months and Son, Lucas, and Harry Kane all getting on the board is super promising.

Seems like it's right in his wheelhouse and although the Cybertruck is not for me (too expensive, too big), it is innovative and super distinctive.

⚽ The man wins, but seems like a questionable fit for Spurs given their tight purse strings and his propensity for big signings. And he's such a mercurial figure who flamed out at both Chelsea and Manchester United after a season's worth of success. But I'm fascinated to see what happens next and All or Northing Tottenham Hotspur is going to be crazy when it comes out next year.

⚽ On the one hand the poor domestic results over the last several months speak for themselves, on the other there are serious player personnel and contract issues impacting the team that fall squarely on Daniel Levy's shoulders and I see no accountability there whatsoever.
