It's fun to take a look at the state of static site generators a couple times a year. Zola1 looks like an interesting Rust based single binary (ala Hugo) with the advantage of a more conventional templating system.
Apparently this is the second name for the project and it already collides with some kind of ebook system so unfortunate luck there.
