Just took a brief walking break outside in a cold, steady, November rain. Sort of glad that it's not snowing, but that would be less oppressive so I'm conflicted. Regardless, wrapping up my shed roof project is going to be difficult if precipitation continues over the weekend.
Discovered yesterday that I had somehow failed to import a good chunk of my Instagram photos from 2017 into my blog thanks to pCloud's social media backup functionality. So working on rectifying that today.
@matigo Good point! Luckily I have a bag of leftover Halloween chocolate within reach at my desk.

My 2018 and 2019 micro posts are now fully imported into 10C. I also confirmed that embedding short mp4 videos works fine too so I'll probably go back and bring in some more short instagram videos that I hadn't previously exported.
A couple days after the 16" MacBook Pro announcement and we've already got 3 orders in the queue here at work. It will be interesting to see if we get a clear uptick in orders through the end of the year or if this is mostly just coincidental ordering.
@matigo as an added bonus it sounds like it has impressive sound quality for a laptop, but I’m looking forward to finally having a Retina display in a portable Mac. And I think they finally got the keyboard right after the butterfly design debacle.
@matigo Heh, just the base 6 core 16GB/512GB model. That will be more than adequate for my needs.
📺 Watched episode 1 of The Mandalorian on my lunch break. It’s gritty, but family friendly and fun. Looking forward to watching it with my kids.
Decided to roll the dice and put in a request for the 16" MacBook Pro with my supervisor. He just approved it so all those years of old Mac hardware frugality paid off!
