🏀 Okay, yes, confirmed that Chris Boucher was the lone Canadian on Toronto's team of Americans and Internationals (and he was buried on the bench). But he's got two rings in his young two year career now.

🛴 The Gen 3 Lime scooters look brutally bulky- 60lbs and wider decks do not appear fun to handle. I've been getting along fine with the Gen 2 models Spokane has, but these new ones are a level up.

🛴 There's a mysterious spot over in the Spokane U-District that confounds scooter GPS and makes them appear at an easy pickup spot they're nowhere near. I haven't succeeded in locating this spot yet, but I have run into the issue twice and spent a long time hunting for it tonight.

🏃‍♂ Today's hot weather made running a bit challenging. I'm still acclimating to running in the 80s, but picked a route with some shade along the way, and survive my easy hour long run.

⚽ Alex Morgan just scored her 5th goal! Wow! Serious tournament opening domination.

⚽ I think Rapinoe wins the goal celebration of the match award. Crazy that Alex Morgan got her 4th goal of the game moments later. 10-0 USA at this point. Oh, wait Mallory Pugh just got her first World Cup goal. 11-0 at the 85'.

The annual "craziest three weeks" of the year at my house have begun this week. Swimming lessons for multiple kids, daily visits with their visiting cousins, and general beginning of summer routines chaos. Should be fun!

🎮📚 There seem to be a fair amount of negative reviews of Console Wars on Goodreads, but personally I really enjoy the storytelling style. After reading Game Over and personally having more familiarity with Nintendo I'm fascinated to learn more about the Sega story in 90s.

I'm kind of intrigued by Swamp Thing, I didn't even realize it was out and now it's been cancelled after the first week apparently. It has good review numbers on IMDB and some recognizable character actors so I will probably check it out.

I'm simultaneously excited for and dreading the big Sharp Avenue construction project that starts next week. Reducing it to two car lanes and adding bike lanes is going to be a huge improvement to the north side of campus, but parking is going to be a pain through October.
