🛴 Looks like Lime raised their Spokane scooter rates by 5 cents a minute. Not sure how I feel about that. We're now twice as much per minute vs. what we were last fall.
Another 4th of July at the Gilman’s- I’m here and I have so many questions! 📷
Loki, living his best life chilling in our garden while his family has a boisterous barbecue across the fence! 📷
🛴 Interesting- Lime just notified me that they're moving collection time back to 10pm in the 4th. Appreciate the communication and it seems like a logical change, but still leaning towards taking the night off.
🛴 Finally ordered some more scooter chargers so I can get out of the charger juggling business and go to bed a little earlier! Also looking forward to taking the 4th off- 9pm along the Spokane River is not going to be a fun time for collecting scooters.
âš½ Great win for the US! England battled hard, but the American depth proved itself as Press came up big in Rapinoe's absence.
âš½ Having the luxury of Carli Lloyd as a late game sub is pretty unreal. The penalty they just gave England looked a lot like a dive, but Naeher just sparked a million "ball don't lie tweets" with a great save.
âš½ Feel like the US is starting to flag energy-wise with about 15 minutes to go. They're up 2-1 for the moment, but England is very dangerous.
Apparently the Betsy Ross flag has been adopted as a symbol of white nationalism. But let's be honest, so has the modern U.S. flag. I think sometimes maybe we need to reclaim symbols rather than just giving them up.
I generally support Colin Kaepernick in his flag protest, but I'm struggling a little bit with the Nike Betsy Ross Flag shoe controversy. It's unclear to me why the colonial flag is any more racist than the modern US flag. There's racism in our past and present, but also good.
