🧙♂ Finally acquired enough pieces through drafting to assemble the mono black reanimation deck I've had my eye on for a while. Won the first game I tried with it too so that was cool.
Super wet day today. Glad to finally get some rain for our yard since I've really been slacking on the watering over the last month or so. Might just get in a wet run now because it's not supposed to clear up until evening.
📺 Pen15 is such a great show- I just finished binging the first season and a half last night. So much heart, truth, nostalgia, and cringe comedy in each beautiful 30 minute episode. Kind of blown away to discover that Maya Erskine's actual mom plays her mom on the show.
🧙♂ Drafted 7 rares and 2 mythics in this morning's Quick Draft! This kind of thing is possible, but unlikely in a human draft; pretty crazy for this to happen in a bot draft where historically available rares are always snapped up.
🧙♂ First Zendikar Rising quick draft was kind of rough. Ended up 1-3 with Orzhov Clerics. Had some close losses, but it never quite came together for me. Started out thinking I would be Golgari Counters after pack 1 in my second go today, but ended up with Orzhov Clerics again.
Spent the morning raking pine needles in the backyard and installing a couple electronic mole repellant stakes in the front yard. Hopefully the stakes will drive away whatever pests have been wreaking havoc since the beginning of September.
🏀The best part about working from home right now is that I can take a 15 minute break, get some fresh air, and shoot some hoops in my back yard for a few minutes.
🧙♂ Tonight's Lords of Limited vs Limited Resources 3 on 3 Zendikar Rising team draft stream was highly entertaining. LSV's stream averaged about 4000 viewers and the event was super competitive with his squad pulling out the 5-4 victory.
⚽ Spurs beat Chelsea on penalties 5-4 in today's Carabao Cup match! No stream, just anxiously watched my Twitter timeline the whole way.
