🎮Ars has a really interesting video interview [youtube.com] with Diablo lead programmer, David Brevik. I had no idea that it was originally conceived as a turn based rpg; pretty funny that he resisted the change up until he saw it in action.

@matigo If I remember correctly for the American release it was French and German with English subtitles, unless there were scenes with spoken English which there were some of.
@matigo I thought the Das Boot tv series I watched on Hulu a couple year ago was pretty good, although half of it takes place on shore in La Rochelle and the U-Boat base there. Season 2 came out this spring in Germany already, but no sign of it in the U.S. yet.
Back working at home for the next few days at least. Impressed with how organized and uncrowded campus has been as they gradually get new students moved in, but we'll see how it is after this weekend when everyone returns.
