Out on the front porch enjoying the occasional sounds of rain as a few sprinkles pass through.
Finishing up lunch and then back out to work on the court borders again. Another 10 tons of gravel is supposed to arrive tomorrow by noon but around half will be going to my in-laws.
Thought I was going to have to interrupt my vacation for one brief meeting, but then my supervisor cancelled so I just completed my timesheet for this pay period and submitted it. No more thinking about work for the next week!
As expected ran out of gravel, but only 1-2 wheelbarrow's short. That's pre-compacting though so we definitely need quite a bit more. Will probably order at least 5 more tons tomorrow.
Beautiful sunny day so far and still cool. Great weather for doing more work outside.
@matigo Yeah, had two beers over the course of the movie too, but it held my attention throughout so no issues.
Hauled around 6 tons of gravel today with 4 more to go tomorrow for the basketball court project. Guessing I'm going to fall asleep during the movie tonight.
Ordered the plastic tiles for our basketball half court project. Looks like they won't get here until the end of July at least, but excited to move forward with this.
I realized today that my particular branch (including my sons) averages a 34.5 year age difference between father and sons. I'm the outlier as my dad was 26 when I was born.
