Midnight kind of snuck up on me. Guess I should go to bed.

when I finally have enough computers that will make it worthwhile it should be an inexpensive upgrade. I don't think I have anything in the house currently- even my work 16" MacBook Pro only has a gigabit Belkin dongle at the moment.

🏃‍♂ Time to get ready for a short hot run. Starting to think about replacing my current shoes even though don't have nearly as many miles as I usually get.

I must say that finally having gigabit ethernet connecting the computers in my office is pretty awesome. Upgrading the wifi router later tonight.

Wow! That's a great tool! Definitely going to put it to use going forward.

I've adjusted fine as well. Still have my family here for human interaction (although at times I retreat to my office more than I probably should) and when I need to get some fresh air I go outside for a while.

this is bizarre enough timing-wise (WWDC is next week and the publicity this is going to generate is not how you build developer good will) that I'm inclined to suspect app-reviewer incompetence over a nefarious policy change, but time will tell.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think my own general sensibilities are more in line with Ars than the Verge anyway. A little more Nerd than hip New York media.

Actually, after your comment I had to check, and based on what I've read on Ars [arstechnica.com] they seem even more effusive with their praise than I was!

heh, now that's funny!🤷🏻‍♂ What can I say, I enjoy those actors and the absurdity1 and how "of this time" it is with the political side of things and Pelosi/AOC stand-ins.

  1. I'm halfway through the series and I still don't know how General Naird's wife ended up in Federal Prison, but it's funny.
