We have neighbors who have inexplicably1 been gifting us with Costco bulk egg packs so I will be eating an omelette for lunch.
Other than they are nice, friendly, caring people who like to do things for people and they know we have a big family.

@matigo No, actually it's not really the case here. It's a family-owned business and the owners are all senior citizens who are ready to retire and do a lot more fishing. Apparently there wasn't anybody younger to take it over.
My wife and teenage daughter went to the White Elephant1 for one last time yesterday. Social distancing and mask wearing in the line to get in was pretty good, but there were several mask wearers who lowered them as soon as they got inside.🤦🏻♂
The local toy and sporting goods store I posted about going out of business after 74 years earlier this week.
@whoisashygirl that's unfortunate1 because the whole point of cloth masks is to protect others by reducing droplet spread while one is in the infectious pre symptomatic 2-3 day window before developing fever cough, etc.

Sat out and watched the lightning for a while. Wasn't expecting a thunderstorm tonight, but I'm sure the grass appreciates the extra water. Hope the neighbors getting their roof replaced still have enough coverage right now to prevent leaks.
Morning meeting, helped my father-in-law change Mary's car battery, making a trip to the waste transfer station at lunchtime… breaking out of the Thursday routine a bit today.
