🎮 Torchlight II was a hit with my sons like I thought it would be. The only problem was that they ended up racing ahead while I talked to some NPCs and it's a big enough world that it took me a long time to track them down again.🤷🏻‍♂

Welp, that's a wrap for the the workday. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my afternoon now.

🎮 Finally wrapped up Icewind Dale tonight. After a couple hours worth of fruitless defeats at the hands of the final boss (spread over three sessions) we threw in the towel and switched on Story Mode so we could move on. Looking forward to starting Torchlight II tomorrow.

I've got a nice goose egg on the top of my left hand after smashing it against the narrow edge of a door that I accidentally stopped from opening with my right foot as I was stepping through. Not my most graceful moment, but it's more tolerable than the headache I woke up with.

that's pretty cool!

Rain has mostly cleared up. Time to go move some dirt around and listen to podcasts once again.

Watched a NarraScope 2020 presentation on the relatively new Chapbook story format for Twine this morning. Looking through the sessions list there are a bunch of other videos that I'm going to want to watch as well once they get posted.

Lots of big distant lightning and rolling thunder, some rain, and wind at times, but it hasn't been anywhere near as intense as the warning indicated it could be so I think we missed the brunt of the passing storm.

The US Weather Service is warning of a super intense (once in 10 years) thunderstorm tonight so we spent the afternoon prepping our house and making room in the garage for Mary's car. My car is stuck outside so hopefully there won't any super-sized hail near our house.

Weird overcast and muggy day so far. Thunderstorm might be a possibility later and it's not warming up quite as fast as I expected. Regardless, getting in my run now- it's very much the time of year when I switch over to running in the morning during the weekend.
