🍿Watched Adam Sandler's new basketball movie, Hustle, tonight and got a kick out of it. The basketball and relationships resonated with me and I always appreciate it when Sandler tones down the comedy and gets a little more serious because he's a good actor.
🧙♂ Battle for Baldur's Gate draft seems pretty fun. Had a great 6-3 run in the first one I tried, but didn't have a very good card pool in the second and went 0-3 (didn't help to be on the draw all three games either).
@matigo If I go OEM it's like a $90 part, or I can just go with a cheaper one again like I did last time. It's also entirely possible that the sensor is fine and the wiring has issues. Didn't have any further problems after I tinkered with the engine a little and reset the code so we'll see.
Of course I start getting knock sensor errors on my car again1 the day my wife is away and I need to haul a couple kids around. Luckily I have backup and the car still runs fine otherwise, but annoying.
I first encountered this issue and replaced it roughly five years ago I think.
🍿James Caan has passed and it's crazy to me to realize that Elf came out almost twenty years ago (and was the first movie that came to mind when I thought of him)!
📺It's going to be interesting to see how all the new Game of Thrones properties end up doing. As a big fan of the books and the show up until it left the books behind1 I have minimal interest in anything other than the decade-late next book (and not much left for it at this point either).
I enjoyed those seasons at the time, but now look back on them with disappointment.
⚽ Watching England - Austria in the Women's Euros. It's 1-0 at the moment, but England really should be up 2. Seems like the kind of game that Austria could definitely steal a point in if England doesn't start imposing their will in the second half.
🧙♂ Had a ton of fun playing Golgari Adventures in the Historic Artisan event that's going on right now and went 10-3. Also briefly tried Selesnya Enchantress to fulfill my daily quest, but it sucked so I went back to Adventures.
🧙♂ Some crazy Historic nerfs and an unprecedented banning1 in Alchemy today. Between this and Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate my son and I are both pretty perturbed by the way WotC has been managing the digital only formats on Arena.
This was never supposed to happen specifically because they can adjust digital cards. Instead of correcting the two new problematic Alchemy only cards, they banned the reprinted Grinning Ignus card that's been around forever and combos with them.
@matigo The only sad thing about the whole matter was having to update my weight!
