Finally replaced the kids' bathroom light with the LED model we picked up several months ago. Installation always takes longer than I expect, but the end result was worth the trouble.
The connection between Dark Sky and my local radar station has been flaky for months. I've stuck with it until now, but it doesn't seem to be improving and it really screws up the location based hourly forecast.
🏃♂ Had a good run on the Bloomsday course today, but faded in the second half as I grew dehydrated. Crazy to be dealing with 75°F on an evening run in April!
🏃♂ Ordered some new running shoes since my current pair have just about reached EOL mileage with just over a week until Bloomsday. Going with the same make and model as my current ones, but in all black as is my wont.
📺 Season 2 of Westworld is off to a pretty good start. Man, I hate all the humans (with a couple exceptions- but they'll probably turn out to be hosts anyway)!
🎮 Really like RPGMaker MV's cross platform JavaScript engine, but not a fan of the default 48x48 tiles and chibi-style character sprites. So typical of me to get a solid product and then get waylaid trying to tweak it to my satisfaction before I can really get started.
🎮 Humble Bundle is having a huge sale on games and software from the company that makes RPGMaker so I picked up versions 2K3 and XP for $11 combined. 2K3 is a good source of SNES-style 16x16 tiles and XP has the best 32x32 tiles of the series.
@matigo Now that I've watched several episodes of the FMA source material, I'm even more impressed from a casting and costuming perspective, even if the script didn't quite pull it off. On the flip side I saw the much more understated Erased live action series on Netflix last year and thought it was really good.
📺 Today I learned that there are two anime versions of Fullmetal Alchemist, the original eponymous version that launched before the manga source material was complete and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood the version that came later and sticks to the original storyline.
