In today's I-am-so-old news that I learned on Twitter, Viggo Mortenson is now older than Ian McKellan was when he made the first Lord of the Rings. Also, we're even farther from Back to the Future than Marty was from 1955.
📺I think Hailee Steinfeld's acting career just leveled up. She's great as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, she's fantastic as the voice of Vi in Arcane: League of Legends, and I just realized she was the voice of Gwen Stacey in Enter the Spiderverse and the lead in Dickinson.
Heh, literally waiting for paint to dry so that I can move on to the next phase of our upstairs bathroom renovation.
📺Hawkeye has been utterly meh in the MCU to date other than the secret family storyline, so it's great that they're borrowing heavily from such brilliant source material because he's actually a lot more interesting as a character than what we've seen to date.
📺Really enjoyed the first episode of Hawkeye. I like how they've adapted the source material and Kate Bishop character to the MCU so far, and adopting the Fraction/Aja series aesthetic for the opening credits looks fantastic.
🏈I didn't see it because of the Zags game, but seeing replays of all the Cougar fans storming the Husky Stadium field en masse after the game and virtually empty stands is kind of hilarious. What a bizarre season.
🏀Duke wins 84-81. Offensive execution fizzled out in the last 5 minutes, but the Blue Devils got it done. Hopefully these teams will meet again in the NCAA tournament.
🏀I swear Timme has at least 1 assist, but this is the kind of game where the NBA scouts go "yep, definitely 2nd round draft pick" because he tried to play their game not his game.
🏀Holmgren with an impressive offensive rebound and put back after his first attempt didn't quite connect. 58-58 with 14:15 to go in the second half.
🏀Zags trail Duke 42-45 at the half. Very good game, but Gonzaga going away from their strengths too much for my taste and that's why they trail.
