Nearby summer fires are beginning to take their toll on the air quality and unfortunately my tear ducts are working overtime to compensate as well.
Back to work today after my week-long fence repair summer staycation. Still several posts to be replaced in the next couple weeks, but made a lot of progress.

⚽ Heartbreak for England on penalties. Feel like Sterling should have taken one of those penalties that the three young guys missed, but disappointed that it went to penalties in the first place.
⚽ England defeats Denmark 2-1 in OT and will face Italy in Sunday's championship match. Sterling and Kane with another high quality outing. So impressed with Sterling's late game speed and energy!

The septic tank is back in working order after a successful servicing appointment. Relieved to get confirmation that last weekend's problems were caused by an overfull tank rather than a problem with our drain field.
Had a brief, but loud thunderstorm pass through this morning. Wasn't expecting that given our extreme heat and clear skies over the last week.
