⚽ Wasn't really planning to watch USA - New Zealand after the Sweden debacle, but couldn't get back to sleep this morning and the game isn't on in the middle of the night anyway so.🤷🏻♂
🧙♂ The second draft started with a bomb mythic (Mordenkainen) that I wasn't super excited about (I have two already and was sorely tempted by a Bruenor Battlehammer in the same pack), but I took it and grabbed a bunch of cheap Simic ramp/deathtouch/blocker dorks.
🧙♂ Had fun playing a couple Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Quick Drafts tonight. The first one didn't come together at all so I was just happy to end up with 2 wins/2 packs to go with the 5 rares I was able to draft.
@matigo I think we may only have had the three as I haven't seen any new dirt mounds since I caught the last one. It's amazing how destructive just a few are.
🎙📚Started listening to the audiobook of Terry Miles new Rabbits novel yesterday. It's set in the same fictional universe as his podcast of the same name and similarly entertaining. The narration by Christine Lakin is really good- I'm impressed with her character voices.
Looks like I managed to catch a third vole. The traps I bought work great, but figuring out where to place them is not always straightforward.
You know the temperatures have finally started to cool off a little when it's warmer in our basement than it was on our main floor. We always open up the windows in the early morning to get some natural cooling and sure enough it's 52°F outside right now.
@matigo Definitely a game I kind of regret getting up in the middle of the night to watch! Sweden was super impressive and they've certainly been a USWNT nemesis over the years.
