📺This is the time of week when I suddenly have at least three shows to catch up on. Slow Horses, Halo, and Picard all had new episodes drop and I have to figure out when to squeeze them in.
🧙♂ Cranked out my Midweek Magic (and daily) wins with a Fynn the Fangbearer poison Historic Brawl deck. My son was doubting it, but it was hilarious how fast I got ahead on poison counters and people just conceded.
@matigo My mom's new electric lawnmower works pretty well, but I can't imagine a robot model properly handling the complexities of hers or mine. Also, got to start my teens' introduction to the working world somewhere.

Nothing like starting off the day with a software service update that took about an hour longer than normal while providing no user feedback (or log updates!) that anything was even happening for said hour. Luckily as admin I could see that MySQL was still doing SOMETHING.

📺Halo S01E5 was incredible! Completely epic Covenant battle cgi. Unfortunately the Kwan side story continues to be a drag on the show because of how unlikable the character has become as written. It's pretty hard to root for an ungrateful and willfully oblivious teen.

🧙♂ Had a fun time at the New Capenna prerelease event today even though I finished 1-3 (last match was super close and came down to the third game). Really proud of my son though who finished 4-0 and won 9 set boosters!
🧙♂ I like Alchemy, but after the way they treated Dragons (multiple nerfs), and my next favorite deck Gruul Werewolves falling off a lot after NEO, I'm reluctant to invest more wildcards and time in the format. Building my Explorer/Historic mana base seems like a better long term investment.
