🧙‍♂ Finally hit Platinum before work this morning thanks to my Historic Izzet Wizards deck and two awesome come from behind victories over Elves.

Audio mixing is also a challenge with four separate participants and varying mic technique, but I'm getting the hang of Reaper and just need to keep learning by doing more podcasts.

that wasn't too much of an issue, mainly a couple segments ran too long, and couldn't really be edited down further in a sensible way. It wasn't the kids' fault it was on me for not planning for and managing the segment recording lengths better as the host.

🎙Played the podcast I did with our younger kids for the whole family tonight. It was well received, but there are multiple things I want to tighten up for the next one. Going to try recording the MtG related one with my oldest son tomorrow.

I could see dropping Netflix in the near future. I'm pretty sure it's our family's least watched streaming service right now. That said, there is still plenty of stuff I'd like to watch on it, but nothing must see for me until the new Stranger Things comes out.

👾MythForce [aspyr.com] is the first recent PC-only game that makes me wish we had a decent gaming PC. The 80s Saturday morning cartoon gaming aesthetic is 😘👌.

Might have to break my lunchtime habit of watching an MTGA deck gameplay video on YouTube in favor of a Reaper podcast editing one. Made good progress last night, but need to get up to speed on keyboard navigation and shortcuts.

the last 12 months have been huge for the Japan - MTG connection: the Strixhaven Mystical Archive had highly popular custom Japanese versions (art and text) that were available in the US from day one, Yuta Takahashi won the world Championship, and Kamigawa Neon Dynasty was the most popular winter set ever (and third all time)!

Yeah, I think my oldest son and I will probably do a Magic the Gathering related one and I've already recorded an amusing family one with my youngest four kids.

🎙Finally starting to learn Reaper for some podcasting projects. It's really powerful and customizable, but the learning curve and setup process is steep. Luckily there are more podcasting tutorial videos out there than ever before and I'm not a complete audio editing newb.
