🏀 Number 1 seed Union loses to Puyallup 61-48 and finishes the season 24-3. I expect Richland to beat Kentridge in the next game, but the way things are going for the Bombers lately a Chargers win wouldn't shock me.

I think Jay Inslee has done a pretty good job as governor of Washington, but I have just above zero interest in him as a presidential candidate. He's a competent, but uncompelling leader that very few in the U.S. outside the state will recognize or be excited to vote for.

🏀 Mt. Spokane boys have a big semifinal showdown against Rainier Beach tomorrow. That will be their biggest challenge since opening the season against G-Prep. Beach has like 8 players over 6-5" so Degenhart is going to have a serious challenge (and opportunity to impress)!

🎙 Now that we're ramping up the 3k1d podcast again I finally got a chance to try out my copy of Audio Hijack Pro. It's going to make recording way easier and let us do a lot of cool stuff with additional music and sound effects this time around.

🏀 Federal Way dispatched Richland pretty easily and Prep did the same with Kentridge. Disappointing that they'll be meeting in the semis, but that's the way it goes. Mt. Si will face Curtis in the other semifinal.

🏀 Sounds like Richland was able to pull their starters in the fourth quarter against Mount Rainier. Up thirty with a matchup vs. Federal Way tomorrow I think that's the prudent approach. That's going to be a great matchup, just a shame it's in the quarterfinals.

Governor John R. Rogers is a mystery to me despite having two high schools named after him here in Washington State. His Wikipedia page is pretty paltry and he doesn't jump out as particularly notable beyond passing legislation that helped equalize public school funding.

The black tinted keyboard and mouse that go with the iMac Pro are my favorite part of finally working on one. That's the keyboard Apple should build the whole Mac line around because Jony Ive's pristine white aesthetic doesn't last long in real world use!

🏈 Gibbs put himself through college working nights at a factory (even during the football season!), and after graduating would eventually become the first black high school principal in Columbus. What a legend!

🏈 Today I learned that Ohio State has an even better, more inspirational walk-on story than Rudy. In 1954 Jack Gibbs, a third string fullback who never played high school football, made a 47 yard interception return against Michigan after subbing in as a linebacker!
