More snow overnight made for a slow, delayed arrival to work. Not much plowing on the majority of my drive into work and those are major arterials.

Survived the slick and icy streets tonight, but I did end up running one red light when it turned unexpectedly and I started sliding into the intersection when I applied my brakes. Luckily there was no cross traffic at the time.

Looks like we've got more snow on the way this afternoon. Despite last weekend's warmer weather, winter isn't quite done with us.

Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas have some of the best simple yet iconic designs. Maryland is also one of my favorites, it seems complex, but it actually has a ton of repetition that makes it easy to encode in svg markup.

There are so many bad state flags, mostly just variations on the blue background with busy seal in the middle. I feel like the Washington State flag is a semi-bad design, but iconic enough with the distinctive green body and Washington portrait to get by.

Just saw some Iowa state flag discussion and feel like I've slipped into an alternate reality because I didn't remember that there was a state flag that used the French flag as a base and then trashed it with a bird and ribbon.

In a surprising turn of events (to me) I think I'm finally going to play A Mind Forever Voyaging for my next computer gaming related activity. The latest episode of Eaten by a Grue [monsterfeet.com] inspired me to not cross the spoiler fence for a change before I give it a play.

As a Seahawks fan I'm pretty happy that San Francisco didn't win their 6th Super Bowl too.

Tied at the half. All San Francisco in the third quarter and then Kansas City scored three touchdowns in the fourth to not only come from behind, but to run away with it.

🏈 Great game. Great outcome. Happy for Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs.
