Trump would love von Braun's history of amoral pragmatism with the Nazis, but he's too stupid to glean anything from the past.

Now that the impeachment trial is finally underway I'm trying to ignore it as much as possible, but it seems as inescapable on social media as Trump's stupidity: "He likes rockets. And he does good at rockets too, by the way."1

Icy roads this morning. I was not driving aggressively and still had a tense moment coming into a red light at a major intersection when my antilock brakes engaged and I just had to hope they would stop my slide in time to not rear end the car in front of me.

I think so, but I prefer GOG most of the time because I prefer to use stand alone installers and not have my kids game activities tied to my account and the cloud. That also lets me buy games when they're on sale and install them as a surprise or gift later.

if not for the games support I really wouldn't; at least a lot of the retro stuff I gravitate should work fine though.

Time for a cup of coffee.

📺 Now that I've finished the Arrow-verse Crisis on Infinite Earths five part crossover I can say that I wasn't totally enamored with its execution, but I liked the end result. I still have a lot of questions about what happened to Oliver's kids in the future though.

🏃 Got in a nice 10K run today after work on the Centennial Trail. The middle section in Kendall Yards was pretty icy so I slowed down a bit, but didn't have any major slips or falls. Already looking forward to the slightly warmer temperatures that are supposed to hit next week.

Finally tried an Impossible Whopper last night. Thought it was pretty good. Most meat-like vegetarian patty I've ever had, and I will certainly eat it again once the price drops, but I don't think I would ever confuse it with the real thing in its current incarnation.

Retro game fan that I am I'm intrigued by the classic gold box Forgotten Realm crpg games. GOG has a few of the sets for $3.33 (66.6% off), but not the Pool of Radiance and Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures one I'm most interested in. Still a really good deal at $9.99.
