Multiplayer Starcraft

Steve is in town for the weekend so we tried our hand at multiplayer StarCraft this evening with mixed results. Basically the computer would either completely gang up on us or be really whimpy.

Steve's dad had a multibutton mouse, and I think I may have to pick up a multi-button usb mouse tomorrow because they're definitely handy.

Starcraft

Anyone notice how my site has been neglected since Tuesday? Blame StarCraft. The mac version finally came out and I've been playing it a lot.

End of Season Team Dinner

Today we finally had the end of season team dinner at Applebee's. It was okay, but it wasn't quite the same as when they follow the last game of the year. Actually it turns out it will be the last dinner of its kind since the school district has determined that dinners such as this are an improper use of ASB funds.

Northwest Web Journals

Today I came across an interesting collection of web journals from people living in the Pacific Northwest.

I made absolutely no progress on cleaning up my apartment. Sigh

NCAA Hoops Championship

Yet another college basketball season came to an end when UConn beat Duke. What a great year of basketball.

I forgot to mention Futurama yesterday. Pretty good overall. Bender rules!

Parent Trap and Mod Squad

It snowed this morning. That's fairly typical for spring weather in Spokane, but I thought that it was especially ironic since I took off my studded snow tires yesterday. It melted rapidly though and didn’t hinder my driving.

I finally saw the new Parent Trap this afternoon. It was a very cute movie. I liked it a lot.

This evening I saw The Mod Squad. There was a lot of walking around with attitude to cool/funky music by the three young stars and not a whole lot of substance, but I enjoyed it.

EdTV and Forces of Nature

Today was a two movie day. EdTV and Forces of Nature. Both were good.

The Goonies

I watched The Goonies tonight for the first time in many moons. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 15 years since this movie came out.

Web Design Conference

I spent the day at a web design conference downtown. Geoffrey Robinson, the speaker I listened to for all four sessions runs his own company, Kanga Multimedia & Interactive and he didn't strike me as being that much older than myself. He was an interesting speaker and he gave me a variety useful information and insight into the website design world.

Basketball Awards Dessert

Today was the pretty good overall. I got to watch Breanna do some ice skating in the afternoon. I had dinner with my grandparents this evening (excellent stuffed tomato) and then I went to the Ferris boys basketball awards dessert.

What a great year for Ferris boys basketball. A 14-0 freshman team, a 20-1 junior varsity team, and a 26-3 State 2nd place varsity team!
